Let\u2019s start with our name \u2014 what actually is XRC, and where did it come from?
\nWell, it\u2019s a pretty big part of our history!
\nBack in 2021, XRC Robotics originally started as Xtreme RC, building high-performance RC tanks for enthusiasts who wanted something faster, tougher, and a little more ridiculous than what already existed. Given the pivot to industry, the XRC name was born.<\/p>\n
Our original platform, The Brawler, is still available today and remains a huge part of where we came from.<\/p>\n
What started as two motorsport engineers building tracked vehicles quickly turned into something much bigger. The company rapidly evolved into a fast-moving robotics business focused on real-world unmanned ground systems.<\/p>\n
Built to Move Fast
\nEarly on, we realised that if we wanted to build the best platforms possible, we needed to move fast \u2014 really fast. That meant bringing manufacturing in-house.<\/p>\n
So in 2022, we launched XRC Engineering, our sister company, giving us direct access to advanced 5-axis CNC machining and rapid manufacturing capability. It completely changed the speed at which we could design, machine, test, break, improve, and rebuild our platforms.<\/p>\n
Today, the close relationship between XRC Robotics and XRC Engineering remains one of our biggest strengths. It allows us to rapidly integrate feedback, shorten development cycles, and continuously refine our vehicles based on real-world use.<\/p>\n
Now in 2026, XRC Robotics has delivered platforms across a growing range of industries and applications \u2014 and we\u2019re still obsessed with building the toughest and most capable tracked vehicles we can!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
